Privacy Policy

TT Tracker and CZ TT Tracker (together, "TT Tracker") are browser extensions built by an independent developer, Alex Dymov, to make table tennis tournament and league websites easier to use. This page explains what data each extension can see, what we do with it, and what we never do. If anything here is unclear, email alex.dymov@gmail.com.
What data each extension can access
TT Tracker (for international tournaments) runs only on worldtabletennis.com, ettu.tv, the ITTF results sites (results.ittf.com and its older versions) and ittf.com. There it reads the tournament, match, player and ranking data already shown on the page, so it can add local match times, rankings and favorite highlights. On ittf.com it only remembers the links of the yearly events calendar, so the matches feed knows which tournaments exist. If you are logged in to worldtabletennis.com, it also reads your account ID and email address directly from that page — the same way the WTT site itself uses them — so it can load the favorite players of your WTT account through WTT's own API. A WTT account is optional. TT Tracker never sees your WTT password. The matches feed can be opened in the side panel next to any website, but it doesn't read or change the pages you have open.
CZ TT Tracker (for stis.ping-pong.cz and pinecarena.cz) does not read any account information. It only reads publicly visible tournament, match, player, and ranking data already shown on those pages, so it can redesign tables, add filters, and build the dark theme. When you use the iCal export feature, it fetches the match schedule from stis.ping-pong.cz using your existing browser session for that site, purely to build the calendar file you asked for.
Where that data is stored
Everything TT Tracker reads is kept in your browser's own extension storage. Your favorite players and countries and, if you are logged in to WTT, your WTT account ID and email are saved with the browser's storage.sync feature, which is provided by your browser vendor (e.g. your Google, Microsoft or Mozilla account), so your favorites follow you between your own signed-in devices. Rankings, the feed's filters, the results you have revealed in no spoiler mode and the ITTF calendar links stay on this device only. We don't operate a server that stores any of it, and we never see it ourselves. CZ TT Tracker doesn't store any personal data at all; iCal files are generated in your browser and saved directly to your device.
What we don't do
- We don't run any analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising code inside either extension. - We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. - Requests go straight from your browser to the official sites and APIs of WTT, ETTU, ITTF and STIS/Pinec Arena. The one exception is the list of YouTube streams in the matches feed, which TT Tracker loads from this website (tttracker.app/api/streams), so YouTube is checked once an hour for everyone. That request is the same for every user: it carries no account data, favorites or identifiers and is answered from a shared cache. Like any website, its hosting provider (Vercel) receives your IP address to deliver the response; we don't use it to identify you.
Permissions we request, in plain language
storage — to save your settings, your favorite players and countries, and cached rankings. scripting, activeTab, and tabs — to add the enhancements described above to the pages of the supported sites and to open the matches feed next to the page you are on. Host permissions for worldtabletennis.com, the WTT API domains, results.ittf.com, the ETTU API (testbackend.stupaevents.com), tttracker.app, stis.ping-pong.cz, and pinecarena.cz — so the extensions only talk to the sites and APIs they are built for, nowhere else. declarativeNetRequest — used only to attach a standard Referer header to TT Tracker's own calls to WTT's APIs; it is not used to block, redirect, or monitor your browsing. alarms and notifications are requested for planned match-reminder features that aren't active yet, so nothing is scheduled or shown today.
Third-party services
Uninstalling either extension opens an optional feedback survey hosted by Formbricks; no personal data is included in that link, and filling it out is entirely voluntary. This website, tttracker.app, uses privacy-friendly Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to see aggregate, anonymized traffic and performance — it does not track you individually or set advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can remove all stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage from your browser's extension settings. Favorite players and countries can also be removed one by one on the extension's settings page. Because your favorites sync through your browser account, signing out of that account or turning off sync for extensions will also stop them from following you between devices.
Children's privacy
TT Tracker is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extensions after a change means you accept the update.
